Coach Marcus Freeman opened his post game presser musing about how there would be a lot “of questions about the tale of two halves and what changes were made. He said that he told the team that he was proud of them. They had to forget about what they thought this game would be and focus on the moment. It was like a new team came out for the second half. While there are things to work on, future is bright for this team.

Notre Dame Football has announced the Captains for the 2026-2027 season. Linebacker Drayk Bowen and Safety Adon Shuler, representing the Defense, return as Captains. Quarterback CJ Carr and Wide Receiver Jordan Faison are your Captains representing the offense. #4 Notre Dame will travel to legendary LAMBEAU FIELD and take on the Wisconsin Badgers next Sunday night, September 6.
