Notre Dame Honors Legendary Head Coach Lou Holtz

We're back at Notre Dame Stadium as the Fighting Irish of the University of Notre Dame take on.

Tonight is bound to be another classic, another Catholics vs Convicts for the ages.

9:15 PM

Notre Dame is honoring the late Lou Holtz in tonight's game. The University partnered with "Under Armour to develop the Holtz Collection line of apparel. The Holtz Collection was developed in collaboration with the Holtz family and supports the Holtz Family Foundationa nd Holtz's Heroes, which is dedicated to preserving and extending Coach's legacy of Love, Trust and Commitment."

Limited edition posters honoring Coach were available and commemorative Yeti Hot cups will be available for purchase.

Several former players who served as captains are in town and will be flag presenters prior to kick-off.

And we can't wait to see what happens during the 1812 Overture between the third and fourth quarter.

Skip Holtz, the son of the legendary coach and a 1986 Notre Dame graduate, stopped by the pressbox prior to the game and spoke to the media.
